I'm still busy with my guest blogging duties, but I've been missing home, so when Girl Friday said she missed me (sweet!), I simply had to check in with the latest. Maybe it's because I'm baking my annual fruit pie this week, and maybe it's because I want someone to kiss me after I've eaten the whole pie, but I've been jonesing to watch My Blueberry Nights. Call me shallow, but if you show pretty people eating pie to a soundtrack of Amos Lee and Cat Power, I'm there. And today you can add it to your Netflix queue!

The famous Door County cherry pie? Gimme some!!!!
Alas, the Door County cherries are coming later - we will be visiting next week. So this week it is good 'ol apple pie.
I'll still fight the boys for the biggest piece, AND I'll even make some cinnamon whipped cream to go with it!
